A Legal Disclaimer

Welcome to The Bramble Studio. We want you to have a relaxed, enjoyable and creative time with us. These Terms & Conditions set out the arrangements for booking and attending our workshops.

By making a booking with The Bramble Studio, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

About The Bramble Studio

The Bramble Studio is a small creative workshop studio based in Ballina, Co. Tipperary.

Our workshops are designed to be relaxed, social and suitable for beginners. No previous artistic or craft experience is required.

We provide the materials, equipment and guidance needed for each workshop. Workshop content may vary from the examples shown on our website or social media.

Booking

Places at The Bramble Studio are limited, so bookings must be made in advance unless otherwise stated.

When you make a booking through our website, you are responsible for providing accurate contact and booking information.

Your place is confirmed once payment has been successfully received and you have received a booking confirmation.

Please check your confirmation carefully and contact us as soon as possible if you notice an error.

Workshop times

Please arrive 10–15 minutes before your scheduled workshop so that you have time to settle in and get comfortable.

Workshops will begin at the advertised time so that everyone can enjoy the full experience.

If you arrive late, we will do our best to help you catch up, but we cannot guarantee that the workshop can be extended or repeated for you.

Cancellations and changes

We understand that plans sometimes change, and we will always do our best to be reasonable where circumstances arise.

Cancelling your booking

If you need to cancel your booking, please contact us as soon as possible.

  • More than 3 days before your workshop: You can choose a full refund or transfer your booking to another available date.

  • Within 3 days of your workshop: Bookings are normally non-refundable.

  • Genuine emergencies: We understand that sometimes unexpected things happen. If you need to cancel at short notice because of a genuine emergency, please get in touch. We will consider the circumstances and do our best to offer a transfer or refund where we reasonably can.

We may ask for reasonable information about the circumstances of an emergency, but we will always aim to deal with these situations with compassion and common sense.

Changing your booking

Subject to availability, you can request to move your booking to another workshop date.

Requests made more than 3 days before the original workshop will normally be accommodated without charge.

For requests made within 3 days, we will do our best to accommodate you, but cannot guarantee that a transfer will be possible.

If we need to cancel

Occasionally, we may need to cancel or change a workshop due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, such as illness, severe weather, safety issues or other unforeseen circumstances.

If we cancel a workshop, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and offer an alternative date or a refund, as appropriate.

Workshop materials and finished artwork

All standard materials required for the workshop are included in the booking price unless otherwise stated.

You are welcome to take your finished artwork home with you once the workshop is complete and the artwork is sufficiently dry or safe to transport.

Some materials may require additional drying or curing time. Where this is the case, we will arrange for it to be posted to you provided it's within Ireland.

Please note that creative outcomes will naturally vary from person to person. There is no right or wrong finished piece!

Care of the studio and equipment

We provide aprons and other protective equipment where appropriate, but creative workshops can be messy.

Please wear clothing and footwear that you are comfortable getting paint, ink or other craft materials on.

Participants are expected to treat the studio, furniture, equipment and other people's belongings with reasonable care.

If you deliberately or negligently cause significant damage to studio property, we may seek reasonable compensation for the cost of repair or replacement.

Health, safety and craft materials

Some workshops involve paints, inks, adhesives, glass, tools or other craft materials.

You must follow the safety instructions and guidance provided by The Bramble Studio during the workshop.

If you have an allergy, sensitivity, injury, disability or other condition that may affect your ability to safely participate in a particular workshop, please contact us before booking or attending so that we can discuss whether the workshop is suitable and whether reasonable adjustments can be made.

Please do not use materials or equipment in a way that differs from the instructions provided.
